Who can participate?

Erasmus+ Training Course is open to individuals aged 18 and above who are involved in youth work, education, or community activities. There are no formal education or professional requirements—what matters most is motivation, active engagement, and a willingness to learn and share experiences!

Cost

All the costs associated with participation, including travel expenses, accommodation, and food are covered, ensuring that all participants can fully engage in the activities without financial barriers.

Furora Foundation (host organisation) is a young organisation established in 2021, based in Warsaw. Our mission is to create and equal opportunities for development, increasing personal competences, promote active citizenship and raise awareness about current values like, social inclusion or cultural diversity especially among young people with fewer opportunities.

Through non-formal education, we put emphasis on empowering young people to better understand the importance of personal development, develop proactive attitudes, and raise awareness of their capabilities and capacities.

In the era of increasing digitization and globalization, financial competencies have become one of the most crucial elements that determine the quality of life and future of each of us. In a world where finance and economics are inextricably linked to our daily lives, the lack of financial education is not just a barrier but a genuine threat. Unfortunately, despite its pivotal importance, financial education is still inadequately represented in traditional school curricula. Young people complete their education with a broad knowledge in various fields but often without the fundamental skills of managing their finances, understanding the tax system, or investing.

The lack of this knowledge has far-reaching consequences. The inability to budget, save, or understand basic credit principles often leads to financial problems such as debt or a lack of savings for the future. The absence of financial education also poses a significant barrier for young people with entrepreneurial ambitions. Unaware of the basic principles of economics and financial management, they often abandon the realization of their business ideas. Fears related to financing complications, capital management, or understanding the tax structure result in the loss of potentially valuable economic initiatives. Furthermore, financial ignorance can lead to making unfavorable investment decisions. Individuals lacking sufficient knowledge are more susceptible to risky ventures, which can result in significant financial losses. They are also more exposed to various financial traps, such as pyramid schemes or internet scams, which can have long-term and negative consequences for their financial situation.

“MONEY MASTERS” is a training course designed to equip participants with essential financial literacy skills, enabling them to make informed financial decisions and support others in developing financial awareness. In a world where economic understanding is increasingly necessary, this project addresses the gaps in financial education by providing practical knowledge on budgeting, saving, taxation, loans, investing, and digital financial tools.

The training brings together participants from diverse backgrounds, creating a space for shared learning and the exchange of best practices. Through interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and discussions, participants will gain insights into key financial concepts and develop strategies to promote financial literacy within their communities. The program also explores modern financial trends, such as cryptocurrencies and blockchain, while addressing risks such as financial fraud and scams.

By the end of the training, participants will not only enhance their own financial competencies but will also be equipped with the knowledge and resources to implement financial education initiatives in their work. Project aims to empower individuals with the confidence and skills needed to navigate the financial world and contribute to the economic well-being of themselves and those they support.

The «Money Masters» project welcomes a diverse and dynamic group of individuals who are eager to enhance their financial literacy and develop practical money management skills. The project is designed to be inclusive and accessible, creating a learning environment that fosters the exchange of experiences, perspectives, and best practices in financial education. Each participating country will be represented by 5 individuals, culminating in a total of 35 participantsengaged in an interactive and impactful learning experience.

Age range
The project primarily targets adults aged 22 and above, with a preferred upper limit of 38 years, ensuring a balanced group of participants who can actively engage in discussions and apply financial knowledge in both personal and professional contexts

Motivation and interest
Ideal candidates are motivated, open to learning, and committed to full participation in the program. A strong interest in financial literacy, economic awareness, and self-improvement is essential, as well as a willingness to actively engage in activities and share experiences with others.

Skills and experience level
Participants will come from diverse backgrounds, with varying levels of financial knowledge. The training is designed to be adaptable, ensuring both beginners and those with prior experience gain valuable insights and practical skills.

Language and communication
As the main language of the project is English, participants should have a communicative level of proficiency (minimum B2 level) to actively participate in discussions, group activities, and collaborative tasks throughout the training.

By taking part in this project, you are confirming that you are going to be active in all phases of the project:

Preparation
Preparation for the project is pivotal, involving meticulous planning and organization to set the stage for its successful implementation.

Implementation
All the participants will be expected to be present and active in all the activities, unless being ill. Unauthorized absence from the activities and workshops won’t be tolerated.

Dissemination
The dissemination of the project’s results is one of our priorities as it is increasing the impact of our action. After the project participants are obligated to make follow-up activities.

BEFORE THE PROJECT

To ensure smooth participation and effective preparation for training course, participants are required to complete the following tasks before the mobility:

• Fill out the registration form – All selected participants must complete the provided form with necessary details by the deadline.
• Join the Facebook & WhatsApp groups – Important updates, travel details, and last-minute information will be shared in these groups.
• Prepare for the Cultural Evening – Bring traditional food, music, or interactive elements to showcase your culture in a fun and engaging way. Keep it interactive rather than a long presentation.
• Complete a financial self-assessment – A short questionnaire will be shared before the project to assess participants’ knowledge and experience in financial topics. This will help adjust materials and session content to better fit the group’s needs.

AFTER THE PROJECT

To ensure the lasting impact of the training course, participants are expected to stay engaged after the mobility by completing the following tasks:

• Complete the Erasmus+ Participant Report – Each participant must fill out the official Erasmus+ report to reflect on their learning experience and provide feedback on the training course.
• Prepare a short project report or article – Summarize key insights, experiences, and outcomes from the training and share it with your organization
• Share insights on social media – Post key takeaways, testimonials, or reflections from the project on social media platforms, helping spread awareness about financial education.
• Contribute to project results – creation and dissemination of project outcomes, including educational materials such as an eBook on financial literacy and other learning resources.

The project will take place in Murzasichle, a small tourist town located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains in southern Poland. The village is situated approximately 15 kilometers south of Zakopane, the popular ski resort and the gateway to the Tatra Mountains. Murzasichle is well-known for its breathtaking views of the Tatras, traditional highlander culture, and numerous hiking and skiing trails.

In addition to the structured activities of the project, enthusiastic participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of local activities. Murzasichle, with its proximity to thermal baths, offers an excellent chance for those interested to relax in the thermal baths. These optional activities provide a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, allowing participants to fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty and recreational offerings of this unique region.
(Entry to the thermal baths is around 15 Euros)

Participants will be accommodated in 2-4 person rooms with bathrooms. These rooms will be mixed in terms of nationalities to foster cultural exchange and interaction among participants from different backgrounds. Towels will be provided in the rooms; however, please note that hair dryers are not available, so you may need to bring your own if required. The lodging also features common areas where participants can relax, socialize, and engage in informal activities. Additionally, the facility includes amenities such as a swimming pool and a ping pong table, providing ample opportunities for leisure and recreation during your stay.

Participants will have their meals provided three times a day at the accommodation. We strive to accommodate special dietary requirements; therefore, please inform us of any specific needs in advance by filling out the appropriate form.

• The nearest airport to the project venue is Kraków Balice Airport (KRK). Participants can also choose to fly to another airport in Poland and continue their journey by train or bus.
• From Kraków, participants can continue to Zakopane by bus or train, with schedules and connections available online at: www.e-podroznik.pl.
• Please note that the last bus from Kraków to Zakopane typically departs around 9:00 p.m., so plan your arrival in Kraków accordingly to ensure you have enough time to continue your journey to Zakopane.
• For the final leg of the journey from Zakopane to Murzasichle, detailed information about transfer options will be shared in the Facebook group for selected participants closer to the project dates.
• Participants are allowed to arrive in Poland up to 2 days before or stay up to 2 days after the official project dates. However, any additional costs for accommodation, food, or local transport during this period must be covered by the participant.

Participants will be reimbursed for their travel expenses up to the amount available for their countries.

Spain: 395 EUR

REIMBURSEMENT POLICY:

• All tickets for both the outbound and return journey should be purchased before the last day of the project because reimbursement will be processed on the last day of the project in cash (Euro). Tickets bought after the project’s conclusion will not be considered for reimbursement.
• Please note that taxi expenses are not eligible for reimbursement. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation or other approved means of travel.
• Be mindful of keeping your travel tickets safe, as lost tickets cannot be reimbursed. We recommend having digital copies when possible.
• Each participant is allowed to have one piece of luggage reimbursed along with their ticket. This can be either one carry-on bag or one checked bag. Please note that any additional services, including extra luggage fees, priority boarding, or seat selection fees, will not be covered.
