Lo que debes saber antes de nada
What is an ESC ?
ESC volunteering or employment project’s main mission is to develop activity amongst young people and helps to broaden their horizons. Young people from age 17 up to 30 can apply to volunteer or work in various EU partner countries of the ESC organization. After enrollment, volunteers move and live in the project’s country from 2 up to 12 months.

Activity 3: Environmental actions
1 volunteer will work on making our organization more “green” and sustainable, and will organize public activities focused on environmental awareness. Examples include clean walks, online awareness campaigns, workshops in high schools about recycling and nature protection, various city and outdoor games, and greening initiatives for public spaces.
After participating in these projects, volunteers will gain a set of competences and skills (including “soft” and “life” skills) that will help them in their future. Additionally, they will have the chance to discover a new culture, meet new people, study a new language, and improve their communication skills in English.
The mobility program has distinct stages:
(a) During the initial month, volunteers engage in the accommodation phase. Collaborative public institutions serve as meeting venues, where volunteers participate in activities and strategize according to their capacity. This period includes a gradual introduction to the work style and spaces of the local organization.
(b) Subsequent months involve the active implementation of activities, constituting the project’s core. Volunteers meticulously prepare, execute, and assess activities across office settings, public spaces, and partner institutions. They initiate proposals, directly engage with providing information to local youth, and actively participate in ongoing activities, assuming a more prominent role in the project’s three main topics. Continuous evaluation and feedback mechanisms gauge their progress.
(c) The final stage encompasses measuring the impact, collecting and summarizing results from all activities, and completing the Youthpass certificate.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY:
Logistic support is provided for the activities, and volunteers participate in nationally organized On Arrival Training and Mid-Term sessions. In addition, volunteers have scheduled Romanian online language lessons and undergo short workshops and training on various topics to aid in activity implementation. Importantly, all training utilizes non-formal education methods, tailored to the needs and capacity of the project team.
Crucially, support is extended by an organization from the volunteer’s home country in the role of sending/support organization.
