Any young person residing in a european country who meets the requirements of each project.
No minimum level of English is required, Spanish could be helpful to get integrated in the local culture
You do not need to be a student
It is not incompatible with having done an Erasmus at the University before.
In order to participate, you must not be receiving funding from another EU program at the time of volunteering, nor have done any other long-term CES/SVE volunteering in the past.
We do not allow long-term volunteering to be combined with other types of studies, volunteers must go away to do voluntary work and in their free time, learn the local language, share time with other volunteers or discover the region, country or neighboring countries.
Volunteering must be for a full period, you cannot go for less time or shorten your stay or start later.
It is very difficult to explain the day-to-day work of an organisation, not least because it also depends on the profile of the volunteer.
In the personal interview that we will have after you apply, we will decide together on the activities that you will carry out.
The organisations that work in this field face many difficulties, and we ask you to make a personal commitment that when you apply for an opportunity of this kind, you do so after deep reflection, that you do not take this as a «just in case/just in case there is nothing else for me to do». In short, that you apply once you are absolutely sure that next year you do not want to do anything other than volunteering.
What is an ESC ?
ESC volunteering or employment project’s main mission is to develop activity amongst young people and helps to broaden their horizons. Young people from age 18 up to 30 can apply to volunteer or work in various EU partner countries of the ESC organization. After enrollment, volunteers move and live in the project’s country from 2 up to 12 months.

Somos Europa was founded in Padul in 2015 with the aim of promoting opportunities for youth people from the countryside, fostering Europeanism, and improving language learning.
Since its inception SomosEuropa has been characterized by the eagerness to work directly with young people, indeed more than 1.000 youth people have directly benefited from its programs through Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, National Funds, local activities, and much more.
Currently, our main offices are in Granada City but we do activities in several cities of the metropolitan area of Granada and of course in Padul

Travel Money: 275 €
Food Money: 200€/month
Pocket Money: 3 euros per day (around 150 euros er month)
Shared room (same gender) in a shared flat/ house with other international volunteers in Padul
Any young person residing in a European Country who meets the requirements of each project.
In order to complete the application you will be required to submit the following documents:
Motivation letter, CV and a virtual interview (all in English).
The grant covers accommodation, food and transport to the volunteer placement, so the expenses you will have to pay will be minimal.
You will also have money available for food and living expenses from the host organisation.
You will have to pay for transport initially and once the project is finished, if you have attended the project and once you have handed in the tickets and invoices to the organisation of the country you are going to, you will be reimbursed for the amount spent on transport up to the established limit.
If you take advantage of the trip to the country where the activity takes place and arrive earlier or return later, your stay in the country of destination will be at your own expense.
Yes, at the end of the project you will receive a certificate called Youthpass issued by the European Commission which reflects the days and activities you have done, the language in which the activities have been carried out and the workshops you have attended. It is a certificate that you can use for your CV.
